My Music badges

March 27, 2006

A couple new things: In addition to the Javascript badges, we’ve got a some really cool new image badges. Check them out on your “Tools” page. To put them somewhere, just click on the badge you like then copy and paste the code (but be sure to specify your Musicmobs name in place of USERNAME). Also, in an effort to encourage communication, you can now delete comments you post on playlists and comments anyone posts to your playlists. This way if you make a mistake or something it’s not permanent.

MobDev Wiki

March 13, 2006

Due to increased interest in 3rd party development, we’ve updated the developer documentation and moved to a new wiki format! The documentation is still pretty bare bones, but there is now an outline for more in-depth data retrieval and links to sample applications. Please mail us if you have any development needs or want to join the other developers on the wiki.

New additions

March 8, 2006

A few new additions… We’ve just added links to iTunes Music Store samples next to all of the songs on the site. Just click the icon next to any song and you should be whisked away. They don’t have everything and there are problems with some links but we’re on the case and it should be improving soon. We also created a better “make mine” icon. Next to albums you’ll see this:
Clicking will feature that album in your user navigation area. We’re also working on better album art resolution, so stay tuned for that as well. There’s been a couple of adjustments to the Mobster page. The download buttons got bigger and greener and we added a screenshot for the Windows version. Hope you like. We should have new versions of both Mac and Windows Mobster coming up pretty soon. They look great, so be sure to check them out when they arrive.
